Hello again, Ms. Abu Bakir and Mr. Oasay's classes -- here is our other piece, an instrumental carol from Czechoslovakia called Vondási Matosi.  This video should help you with the recorder part.  As you know there is a xylophone part as well, but let's nail down the melody first.

3rd Grade Home -- "Tune of the Buffens" Part 2

2nd Grade Home -- "Al Quebrar La Piñata"

Ms. McCloud, Ms. Zarakowski and Mr. Austin's students (and families) -- here is the first of two songs you and your classmates will be singing in the holiday show on December 13.  The trick here (aside from the Spanish pronunciations, which we will work on in class) is the switch from triple meter (meter in 3) to duple (meter in 2).  Listen to this practice recording and you will see what I mean.

Ms. Gary's and Ms. Valdez's class -- here is the first of two songs we will be learning for the Holiday Show on December 13.  While the song is in Yoruban, an African language, as you can see it is really just two phrases.  It means -- "that which the creator has made can never be destroyed"
