Mr. Albert's Class -- lyrics for "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

A couple of students in fifth grade home asked me to post the lyrics for "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Here they are:

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
By Hugh Martin & Ralph Blane

Have yourself a merry little Christmas.
Let your heart be light.
From now on all troubles will be out of sight.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas.
Make the yuletide gay.
From now on our troubles will be far away.

Here we are as in olden days;
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

Through the years we all will be together,
If the fates allow.
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough,
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
