Hitotsu Toya (Temple Bells)
Japanese Folk Song

Hitotsu toya,

Okazari tate taru

Temple bells will chime, oh
Chime for the bright new year
That comes to us tonight;

Now on ev’ry door there hangs
A spray of lovely pine;
